Otolaryngologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Richmond, Virginia

A cancer center is seeking an otolaryngolgoist for locum tenens coverage.In Richmond, we are probably best known for our birthing center, repeatedly voted the Best Place in Richmond to Have a Baby (Style Magazine). We provide exceptional care for newborns and infants, including a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staffed with onsite neonatologists 24 hours a day.The position requires a range of surgical and non-surgical ENT procedures. Surgical procedures include thyroidectomy and extended parotidectomy. General surgical otolaryngology procedures required are tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and PE tube placement. Non-surgical requirements include hearing evaluations and the evaluation and management of disorders involving the ears, nose, throat, and skeletal facial structures. Endoscopic procedures such as septal and sinus surgery, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy are also required. Additionally, candidates must be experienced in facial surgery procedures including rhinoplasty, treatment of facial fractures, and performing skin grafts or flaps.
