Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Massachusetts

A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located off coast, near Marthas Vineyard.This is an outpatient opportunity with flexible scheduling options of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend requirements. The provider will see 1622 adult patients per day (ages 18+), working with a population that may include underserved communities. Experience in HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B/C, LGBTQ+ care, and womens health is a plus, and an AAHIV designation is preferred but not required. The role utilizes EPIC EMR, and candidates must hold an active MA license, DEA, and BLS certification. Board certification is preferred, though truly board-eligible providers may be considered. COVID vaccination is not required. The credentialing process is fast (34 weeks), and the client is open to starting providers sooner with back billing, as most patients are Medicare.
