Emergency Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Albuquerque, NM

A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.Sample traditional New Mexican cuisine, experience world-class museums, stroll along Central Avenue under the glow of Route 66 or soar high above the city in the hot air ballooning capital of the world - all in Albuquerque, New Mexico.This Emergency Medicine position is at a Level IV trauma center with an annual patient volume of 35,000 and an average of 1.2 patients per hour. The ED has 17 beds, and shift times are 7 AM7 PM and 7 PM7 AM. APC coverage is provided from 10 AM10 PM and 2 PM12 AM. There is no scribe support, and the facility uses Epic for EMR. Admitting orders are required for approximately 25% of patients. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible through ABEM and hold an active ACLS certification. Only Emergency Medicine board certification is accepted. COVID vaccination is not required.
