Emergency Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Clinton, Iowa

A level IV trauma center seeing 22,000 annul volume is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.The Clinton, Iowa area offers year-round attractions, outstanding annual events, live theater, unique restaurants and historic districts. Don't leave your assignment without a visit to the state-of-the-art marina and riverfront amenities.The emergency department operates with 12-hour physician shifts and daily 12-hour support from advanced practice providers (APPs). Physicians can expect to see approximately two patients per hour and will use Cerner as the electronic medical record system. While ED physicians are responsible for responding to floor codes, they do not handle patient admissions. Trauma cases are transferred to the University of Iowa.
