Emergency Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Alexandria, Louisiana

This emergency department sees an annual volume of 49,500 and accepts BC/BE EM, FM, or IM physicians. Physician shift times vary throughout the week, with coverage ranging from early morning to overnight. There are 3642 hours of APP coverage daily, 10 hours of scribe support, and a 22% admit rate. The ED has 42 beds and uses Epic for charting. Travel and lodging are paid, and the credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.The facility is located in Alexandria, LA.Both day and night shifts are available for this position. Orientation includes a shadow shift prior to the official start.
