Hematologist/Oncologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Southwestern Arizona

An outpatient cancer center is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in Southwestern Arizona.This full-time, ongoing opportunity involves a clinic schedule built for 17 patients per day, with 2 new patient consults each morning and afternoon. The clinic runs from 8:20 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a paid one-hour lunch. Call is taken one week at a time (1:4 ratio), beginning Friday morning through the following Friday, and includes inpatient weekend and weeknight responsibilities. Call is unrestricted, allowing physicians to stay in a hotel and only come into the hospital when necessary. The facility uses Epic as its EMR system. Multiple scheduling options are available, including two physicians covering two weeks each, one physician covering three weeks on/one week off, or physicians committing to one week per month on an ongoing basis.
