Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Urbana, Illinois

A facility in Urbana, IL is looking for a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to assist with clinic and procedural coverage starting ASAP! Candidates must be Board Certified and hold an active IL license to apply. Credneitaling will take approximately 60-90 days.If you enjoy being outdoors, Urbana, Illinois is the perfect place to be while on assignment! You can visit Meadowbrook Park, the University of Illinois Arboretum, and Busey Woods for walking trails and beautiful views!The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 7:30 AM start for MAC blocks. The role consists of 40% outpatient clinic time, with 30-minute consults and 1530-minute follow-ups, and 60% GI procedure lab time, where procedure length is based on the average of the last 30 cases. Sedation is either procedure sedation or MAC, depending on criteria, with separate MAC blocks for qualifying patients.
