Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in South Carolina

A large hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in South Carolina.The locum's schedule will be Monday through Friday, with one clinic day per weeklikely on Wednesdaysand the remaining four days in the endoscopy lab. In the clinic, they will see approximately 30-35 patients per day, focusing solely on general GI cases (no ERCP or EUS). On endoscopy days, procedures will begin at 7:30 AM and continue until all cases are completed, with a goal of scheduling 15-20 cases per day. The facility uses the EPIC EMR system.
