Leadership Opportunity! Up to a $40,000 Bonus for a Full-Time Neonatologist in Flagstaff, AZ Near Sedona & the Grand Canyon!

Seeking Full-Time Neonatologist to join as a Site Medical Director for our level III NICU practice in Flagstaff, Arizona. Be part of a larger care team within the state of AZ where quality improvement and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. The ideal candidate will be a team player that fits into the positive culture, seeks engagement at the facility level, and desires participation in quality improvement projects. This physician will be supported by a robust Phoenix division that includes 8 neonatologists and 25+ neonatal nurse practitioners, so you won’t be on your own!

Flagstaff Medical Center is a 270-bed regional hospital distinguished by its high-quality care, specialty services, and Level 1 Trauma Center. Flagstaff is a charming mountain town in Arizona’s high country, located along historic Route 66 and near Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is nestled in the San Francisco Peaks Mountain surrounded by the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest and filled with majestic landscapes and scenery. Opportunity Details:

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists to evenly share rounding & call coverage
  • 24/7 in-house NNP, employed by the hospital
  • A collaborative approach to care with the Neo and APP working together
• Schedule: flexible call schedule
  • In-house during the day
  • Call from home, with 30 min response time
• Level III NICU:
  • 18 beds
  • ADC: 10
  • 1000 Annual deliveries
• Strong support and stability in Arizona, with recent growth in Phoenix and Tucson

Medical Director Opportunity Details:

• Minimum two years of leadership experience
• Medical Director at Flagstaff Medical Center will also have directorship duties for Guardian Air Transport and Verde Valley Medical Center
• Focus on Unit Quality Improvement and Team Development
• Collaborate with hospital staff, leadership, and community OBs & pediatricians
• Engage in program development and volume growth with neighboring community hospitals & providers
• Standardize care and ensure evidence-based practice standards
