OB/GYN Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Hospitals in Houston, Texas

7 hospitals, which vary between Maternal & NICU Level II - Level IV facilities, are seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.While near Houston, Texas on assignment, head into the city for a gorgeous skyline with great food options like chicken and waffles at The Breakfast Klub or pad thai from Tony Thai.12 or 24 shifts will be available. Patient volumes are high at 3 locations. The clinician will work the OBED and take unassigned patients. A minimum of 5 years of OB experience is required. The duties include being available for consultations with all obstetric Hospital patients in the Emergency Department or any Hospital-Owned Clinic providing care to obstetric Hospital patients when requested, coordinating transport of acute or critically ill obstetric patients to or from other facilities for appropriate care as necessary, availability to provide surgical assist services to Hospitals OB/GYN physicians, and coverage of Hospitals obstetrical triage unit to provide evaluation of Hospital patients that present with acute symptoms or signs of labor.
