Hematologist/Oncologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Red Bluff, California

An Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.Head to Red Bluff River Park while on assignment in Red Bluff, California to unwind after a long day. There are countless areas to relax in Red Bluff as well as have some fun with places like the Tuscan State Ridge Winery.The schedule is Mon-Thurs 7:00AM-5:30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun. The facility uses iKnowmed EMR (Clinic) and Cerner EMR (Infusion). Duties include all aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.

Case Load/PPD: 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs shared between the MD and NP with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.
