Hematologist Oncologist Needed in PA for Ongoing Assignment
Specialty: Hematology & Oncology

Medical Onc / Hem / Infusion OP Candidate:

  1. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
  2. Must have PA Medical License
  3. Reason for locum need? Additional help

Details:

  • Work week: Monday stating at 7:30am round on patients at the hospital then go to clinic and treat patients until 4:00pm. Provider will be on call from 4:00pm until 7:30 am Tuesday will repeat same schedule until weekend coverage starts on Saturday / Sunday
  • Weekend call for Saturday / Sunday is 24 hours with rounding on patients as needed.
  • Average of 10-12 chemotherapy patients per day, which physician would oversee.
  • Medical Oncology – office visit number of patients seen daily is 15. NP sees her own patients without the physician unless patient is a new patient.
  • Provider will not be doing any admission and/or discharges
  • Provider will not see any patient under the age of 18
  • No special procedures he/she will have to perform.
