Vice Chief opportunity-Clinical and admin duties. Unique academic and private practice blend. No OB and no peds. Up to 16 weeks off!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a full time Vice Chief anesthesiologist to help lead our expanding team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Anesthesia team also holds privileges at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. HCA Ocala is a Level II Trauma Center with 323 beds and is located 45 minutes south of Gainesville, just over an hour north of Orlando.

Highlights of the opportunity include:

• Friendly and collaborative Anesthesia Care Team consisting of 20 physicians and 32 CRNAs
• Variety of cases: Cardiac (separate team), Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma. No Peds and No OB.
• Home call for physicians - CRNAs in house
• Great working relationship with the surgeons
• Separate trauma call coverage - no night or weekends required.
• Academic affiliation with UCF School of Medicine involving 27 rotating anesthesia residents

Responsibilities Include:

• Support the continued development of the department
• Participate in key hospital committees as required by hospital leadership
• Collaborate with leadership from West Marion Community Hospital
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling with Chief MD and GME Program Director
• Recognize talent within the department and delegate for committees
• Ability to communicate effectively with administration
