Envision Physician Services is currently seeking a full time Vice Chief Anesthesiologist to help lead our expanding team at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. Anesthesia team also holds privileges at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. West Marion Hospital is a lower acuity, mostly outpatient facility with 222 beds and is located 45 minutes south of Gainesville, just over an hour North of Orlando.

Highlights of the opportunity include:

• Friendly and collaborative Anesthesia Care Team consisting of 20 physicians and 32 CRNAs.
• Variety of cases: Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN and Robotics. No Peds and No OB.
• Home call for physicians
• Friendly and collaborative physician/CRNA team. Great working relationship with the surgeons.
• Academic affiliation with UCF School of Medicine involving 27 rotating anesthesia residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support the continued development of the department
• Participate in key hospital committees as required by hospital leadership
• Collaborate with leadership from HCA Ocala Hospital
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling with Chief MD and GME Program Director
• Recognize talent within the department and delegate for committees
• Ability to communicate effectively with administration
