Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN ­Emergency Medicine Physicians needed for Prowers Medical Center in Lamar, Colorado!­

Physician Requirements:­

• Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and General Surgery specialties accepted
• Current ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS and NRP preferred
• Current unrestricted Colorado state medical license and DEA
• 400 hours of Emergency Department experience required over the last 2 years
• 12 or 24 Hr. shifts­

With an annual ED volume of 8,000 visits, Prowers Medical Center’s Emergency Services staff provides quality and compassionate care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergency services at Prowers Medical Center are offered in a state-of-the-art facility that has recently been updated and expanded to a 7-bed, 9,500-square-foot emergency department.­ Emergency department professionals strive to accommodate patients with particular needs including psychiatric care with a separate psychiatric illness room, two trauma rooms with bedside computer charting, negative pressure exam room and private patient consultation area. ­
