A versatile Family or MedPeds Physician sought for a hospital based rural health clinic, based on site at 25 Bed Level IV Critical Access Hospital. This position is open due to a retirement. Here you will join a practice consisting of four other physicians, four APP, seeing all ages. In addition to seeing patients in clinic, here you will have an opportunity to keep up with your inpatient skills, serving as back-up to the ER APPS. Comfort with inpatient procedures such as I & D, LPs, Vent Management, EKG Interpretation, and code response required. Call involves one weeknight per week, and one weekend every four weeks. Hours are 7:30a-5p Monday-Friday. seeing on avg, 16 patients/day. On-site labs, imaging, surgery, RT, PT, OT and Speech therapists. Utilize EPIC EMR System. Credentialing to take around 90 days. Offering competitive salary and benefits package for employed providers, and competetive hourly/on-call rates for locums. Locums providers also receive complimentary lodging, medical malpractice coverage, and mileage reimbursement.
Requirements:
-Certifications: Board Eligible/Certified within 5 years of residency
-BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ATLS
-COVID Vaccination required
-IA License (Those needing to apply will be accepted)
