Versatile Hospitalist needed Eastern IA-$200/hr+

Hospitalist Physicians Needed at 25 Bed Level IV Critical Access Hospital in Iowa
Locum Tenens Hospitalists: 24 hour weekend call coverage 8a Fri-8a- Mon.

-Option to cover an additional weekday of 24 hr call, and/or clinic if desired.


-Solo hospitalist on staff during coverage, supporting a 24/7 team of APPs in the ER and hospital.


1-2 admissions/day 5-6 inpatients in the patient care unit.


-Serving as backup to the ER APPs and responding to house codes.


-No ICU

-Procedures required may include non-invasive vent management, intubation, chest tubes, central lines, PICC Lines, newborn resuscitation, general inpatient pediatrics, non-displaced fractures, suturing minor lacerations, evaluation, and management of acute volume. BP issues, EKG interpretation.

-On-site labs, imaging, surgery, RT, PT, OT and Speech therapists.

-Utilize EPIC EMR System.


-Credentialing to take around 90 days but temporary privileges can be granted in 2 weeks for those with a clean file.

Offering competitive hourly rates, mileage reimbursement, and complimentary lodging and medical malpractice coverage to locum tenens/1099 providers.

Requirements:
-Board Certification

-Comfortable with all ages

-Experienced with procedures listed above

-Iowa License

-BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC

-Prefer local, drive-in candidates only
