General Surgery NP Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage ASAP at Large Hospital in Central New York

A large hospital is seeking general surgery APPs for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP. The locum will work both day and night shifts.The facility is located in central New York.The APP will work autonomously but supervising physician will be present. Required duties: pre-op physical exams, suture removal, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, assist in surgery, write prescriptions, rounding.Details:-3-5 surgical cases/day-70k ED visits/year-Candidate must have strong laparoscopic and open backgroundTravel, lodging, transportation-NCCPA -Required (for PAs)-RFNA & FNP - Required (for NPs)-NY license - Required-Experience in and out of the OR (no new grads) - Required-Clean background with no malpractice - Required for quick start-Must be proficient in Da Vinci Robotics Si and Xi - Required-Local candidates within driving distance - Highly Preferred-ACLS-BLS
Dates Needed: ASAP - ongoing for at least 3 months
Case Load/PPD: 3-5 surgical cases/day
