Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Hospital in Southern Minnesota

A community-based healthcare facility that brings the resources and expertise of Mayo Clinic to the community and the region is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in southern Minnesota.The locum will provide call and hospital coverage. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm in the hospital doing procedures and outpatients colonoscopies. There are call requirements and the locum must also be available after hours by phone to triage and come to see patients if the need is urgent. ERCP is preferred but not required and EUS is not needed. Procedures include colonoscopy, EGD, flex sig, food impaction, etc. Candidates must be board certified in IM and gastroenterology with a gastroenterology fellowship and ACLS. An active MN license is highly preferred.

Case Load/PPD: 8-12 PPD, 3-5 new consults daily
