  • Memorial University Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist!
  • Strategically partner with hospital affiliates to improve the management of behavioral health services.
  • HCA BHS operates behavioral services at 55 locations, with a total bed count of over 2,500.
  • The Center also provides outpatient ECT treatment.
  • Addictionology background a plus!
  • The Center for Behavioral Medicine is located on the campus of Mumc with a 26-bed adult inpatient unit and a 10-bed med/psych unit located in the hospital.
  • Align behavioral health services with other services and systems within HCA to leverage synergies and improve patient outcomes.
  • Identify meaningful growth opportunities and institute a platform for increased effectiveness and collaboration through existing HCA behavioral health services.
  • HCA Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is one of the fastest growing service lines within HCA and one of the nation's largest acute care psychiatric providers.
  • Excellent Hospitalist support & Psychiatric Assessment Team.
  • This is an employed opportunity through HCA Physician Services Group.
  • Incoming Physician work on a 7on/7off schedule.
  • The inpatient unit is a program for people age 18 and older who have primary psychiatric illness that may be coupled with substance abuse issues.
  • BHS serves all age populations: 57% adult, 21% geriatric, 13% child and adolescent, and 9% dedicated to specialty services such as substance abuse and eating disorders.
