Physician - Nephrology Job in Augusta, GA

  • The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, seeks a subspecialty board eligible/board certified academic physician to join its full-time faculty.
  • This position is based at the main campus in Augusta, Georgia.
  • This position is a clinician educator who will be involved in patient care, research & education.
  • Responsibilities include: rounding on renal consult service, nephrology ward service, staffing fellowship clinics and dialysis unit shifts.
  • Augusta is located in proximity to Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, and Savannah as well as the seacoast and mountains.
  • The city hosts urban living with a variety of restaurants, play houses, concerts, a newly renovated symphony hall and soon to open minor league baseball venue.
  • Candidates will hold MD, DO or MD/PhD and be board eligible/certified.
  • Medical College of Georgia is Georgia's only state-supported medical school.
  • Academic appointment, tenure status and salary depend upon qualifications and experience.
