Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Walk-In Clinic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urgent care or family medicine, exceptional clinical judgment, and a passion for delivering convenient, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Providers are expected to demonstrate cultural competency and a strong commitment to serving vulnerable or underserved populations, including the uninsured, underinsured, and non-English speakers. (do not have to speak Spanish, though it is a plus).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, high-quality care for walk-in patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and manage follow-up care
  • Collaborate with on-site support staff and off-site physicians as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active NP or PA license in the state of Texas (required)
  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

Southeast Walk in- Double coverage daily with Physicians/APPS. Open Monday-Saturday

Hancock Walk in- Double APP coverage daily. Open Monday- Sunday
