To thrive in this captivating role, we require a minimum of five years' experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an Emergency Department, with a preference for Critical Access Hospital experience. Additionally, you must hold (or be able to obtain) a current license to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of Vermont. For Nurse Practitioners, valid VT Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, as defined by the Vermont Nurse Practitioner Act, is required. Physician Assistants must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and hold a Vermont PA license. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are also mandatory, with additional certifications potentially required based on your training and experience.
